Earthdance Florida 2015: the music schedule. Don’t plan on sleeping!
If you want a completely overwhelming experience, just look at the music schedule on the two stages at this weekend’s Earthdance Florida celebration. You can identify about eight (8) total hours when there is no music scheduled from the festival’s start on Thursday at 6 PM and its coda on Sunday at 4 PM. If the math is correct, that would be about 62 hours of music, often on The Lotus Temple stage, Gateway to Eternity stage and Atlantis stage simultaneously.
Perhaps you could mainline caffeine.

THURSDAY
Ajeva (St. Petersburg) has the honor of opening the festival at 6 PM. This great band lists funk as their genre, but that is a simple umbrella encompassing rock, soul, reggae, ska blues and just about everything else.

Copious Jones (Atlanta) weds jam and intelligent lyrics for an outstanding set. They were superb at The Great Outdoors Jam in July!
Telekinetic Walrus (Miami) plays experimental psychedelic hip-hop from somewhere in deep space. Deep space!
The Bath Salt Zombies (Daytona Beach) defy description. And they are headed to Hulaween! In fact, five of the Earthdance bands will be at the String Cheese Incident’s Hallowe’en blowout!
Bells & Robes (Gainesville) are a live electronic duo playing dream wave music on keyboards, computers and drums, taking you to magical places.
FRIDAY
Flat Land (Gainesville) is a spectacular quartet purporting to play ‘cosmifunkpop.’ As usual, that barely begins to describe the depth and breadth of their music.
Holey Miss Moley (St. Petersburg) threw down a great set at Roosevelt Collier’s Suwannee Getdown last month and at The Great Outdoors Jam. Did we mention Hulaween?
Come Back Alice (Sarasota) play gypsy swamp rock like nobody else. Two amazing sets at The Great Outdoors Jam. Hulaween? Of course!
Greenhouse Lounge (Jacksonville) bring you powerful live electronic music. Their recent Reunion: Campout Concert Series shows were killer. And more Hulaween!
SATURDAY
Future Vintage (St. Petersburg) combines jamtronic goodness and ‘70s fusion for a danceable mix. (So, yes, you’d better bring a couple of pairs of dancing shoes!)
Subsqwad (Planet Earth): Electronic, glitch-hop, dubstep, and crunkadelic bass music? Yeah, we’ve got that! The duo created quite a stir at Bonnaroo.
Dixon’s Violin features Dixon, a musical shaman who provides transformational journeys via visionary digital violin.

Also, the international PRAYER FOR PEACE will occur at 7 PM. This will coincide with every Earthdance Festival globally in more than 100 locations in 60 countries.
SUNDAY
I-Resolution (Orlando) inserts dancehall and hip-hop music into their solid reggae sensibilities.
