The Black Hills Unity Concert: A Free Concert Honoring the Sacred
The Second Annual Black Hills Unity Concert is a free music, art, and culture gathering in South Dakota. The mission of the festival’s founders is to gather in order to raise awareness and celebrate. Members of the Pte Oyate (Buffalo Nation, also called the Great Sioux) will unite with artists of all kinds and attendees who also share the same vision. Their aim is to honor the treaties of our past and allow the Great Sioux Nation their land.
The musical lineup is filled with many well-known musicians, including Frank Waln, Nahko Bear, and Peter Yarrow (Peter, Paul, and Mary).
To get back to your roots and connect with the tribe, camping will be available on site. To learn more visit: http://www.theunityconcert.com/
