Daze Between New Orleans Coming April 29 & 30

The usual suspects have rounded up the usual suspects for another truly magnificent Daze Between New Orleans on the Tuesday and Wednesday between Jazz Fest weekends, this year at a new venue: the historic Mahalia Jackson Theater for the Performing Arts in the heart of Louis Armstrong Park in the Big Easy.

Umphrey’s McGee will rock a Led Zeppelin set featuring Jason Bonham and an original set with Jennifer Hartswick and Jeff Coffin!

Headlining night two is the The Allman Betts Band New Orleans Family Revival featuring George Porter Jr., Eric Krasno, Ivan Neville, Sierra Green, the Dirty Dozen Brass Band Horns, AND more special guests!

Also headlining: GEOLEO. That would be George Porter Jr. and Leo Nocentelli of the original Meters, joined by Ivan Neville and Stanton Moore!

The Headhunters are led by percussionist Bill Summers and drummer Mike Clark who have kept the vibe alive for 52 years since the release of Herbie Hancock’s album Chameleon. Eric Krasno and Weedie Braimah will join them.
