Melt Making Their Presence Known with Packed Calendar to Open 2025

Melt, the New York indie band formed in 2017, have been hard at work, touring and playing festivals. Last year also saw the release of Melt’s debut recording If There’s a Heaven. 2025 promises to be big for the quartet, with 30 dates scheduled between now and the beginning of June on their Plant the Garden Tour.

Their show at Deep Dive in Ithaca February 20 opens a six-date Northeast run, followed by three shows with the amazing Andy Frasco & The U.N. Six more shows in the East close the March calendar. In April they begin in Colorado before running up and down the West Coast from Vancouver to the Bay Area. They will end this portion of the calendar with a five-night run joining Pigeons Playing Ping Pong and The Infamous Stringdusters along the Northeast coast.

The group began as a septet but are now a cohesive quartet. Melt are: Veronica Stewart-Frommer, vocals; Eric Gabriel, keyboards; Marlo Shankweller, guitar; and Lucas Saur, bass. They are at home playing folk, jazz, R&B, soul, and more.
