China Dolls Set for 3-Night Soar the Sky Tour

China Dolls, “A Female-Empowered Jam Band presenting the Grateful Dead and JGB catalog with Heart and Soul,” are gearing up for their three-night Soar the Sky Tour in California this weekend. The Oakland-based band will play Nevada City, Berkeley, and Felton December 8-9-10.

China Dolls are: Sunshine (Garcia) Becker, vocals, flute; Anna Elva, drums; Jen Rund, bass, vocals; Richelle Scales, keyboards; Pamela Parker, guitar, vocals (12/8 & 12/9); and Cheryl Rucker, vocals (12/9). And the Dolls are bringing in a hired gunslinger in the form of guitarist Joni Bottari of Brown Eyed Women! Special guest Matt Hartle, guitar, vocals, will join them 12/10.
