Snowglobe Music Festival Packs Superstar EDM Heavy Lineup
There are many good reasons why you should make plans on attending the 9th Annual SnowGlobe Music Festival that takes place on the campus of Lake Tahoe Community College in South Lake Tahoe, California. If you’re a fan of EDM, you won’t be disappointed with this stacked lineup of electronic music giants.
The MTV-run festival, now in its ninth year, remains the largest music event held over the New Year’s Eve holiday, where the after-parties continue at several nearby ski resorts and casinos long after the stage lights have dimmed. Unlike most summertime festivals, this is one where you can bundle up in warm clothes, wear your coolest winter gear, and sip on hot chocolate (or something) while you bounce to each of the three stages at the festival.
Although this is primarily an EDM festival, it also features several hip hop acts. This year’s lineup will include Skrillex, Fisher, Gigantic NGHTMRE, GRiZ, E-40, Louis the Child, Tchami x Malaa, Vince Staples, A-Trak, and Earthgang among others over three days leading up to New Year’s Eve.
Since this is Lake Tahoe, you will be nestled among the towering pine trees that surround the festival grounds along with other winter-related entertainment and activities that will again include skiing and snowboarding demonstrations alongside music performances. It will again be punctuated by a massive fireworks display.
