The Lumineers World Tour Dates Announced for 2020
Over the past eight years, The Lumineers have skyrocketed to an international level of fame that many bands never achieve, from playing small bars in Colorado to headlining some of the biggest music festivals in the world like Bonnaroo and Outside Lands. It’s been a spectacular rise to fame for the group, who over the years have both gained and lost members.
The Lumineers only have two full albums released with their third, III, set to be released on September 13. The American/folk-rock band will play over 30 arena shows throughout the U.S. and Canada. The next stop on their tour will be on August 7 at the Mission Ballroom in Colorado. Their 2020 tour will continue for nearly a year, with their last stop occurring on July 12, 2020, in Italy.
Tickets go on sale Friday, August 16, at 10 a.m. via the band’s website. If you are a member of their fan club ($40 a year), you will have access to pre-sale tickets before they go on sale to the general public on Monday, August 12, at 10 a.m. I’m always met with mixed emotions when a band I love rises to international fame. On one hand, I am stoked that their dreams are being fulfilled and millions of people are able to enjoy their music. On the other hand, I wish I could still get front row to their show for $20 at a venue with a 1,000-person capacity.
