Widespread Panic Ready for 23 More ‘Joyous Occasions’
The six-header monster goes back on the prowl again the next three weekends, as Widespread Panic has three-night runs at The Theatre at MGM National Harbor, The Capitol Theater in Port Chester, and the Durham Performing Arts Center.
In April, the band lovingly known as WSMFP headlines SweetWater 420 and the Trondossa Music & Arts Festival with two nights at each festival. In June, they will visit Brandon, Mississippi, before their famed Red Rocks run. Add to that two nights at The Ride Festival in Telluride and three more nights at Saint Augustine in August (a month earlier!), and you’ve got the spring and summer itinerary for Widespread Panic.
Widespread Panic are: John Bell, guitar, vocals; Jimmy Herring, guitar; David Schools, bass, vocals; JoJo Hermann, keyboards, vocals; Duane Trucks, drums; and Sonny Ortiz, percussion.
Many of these shows are sold out. Check the band website for updates. And watch for photo galleries from our Man in Panic Mode — Jeff Fernandez!
