Billy Strings Announces 2019 Spring Tour Dates
Bluegrass heavyweight Billy Strings has announced a 2019 tour that will see the band travel from coast to coast and almost everywhere in between. The tour, which begins in April, will run through the end of June and see the band play at festivals large and small as well as a few select solo shows along the way.
The tour starts off in April at the Bender Jamboree in Las Vegas NV and comes to an end at 4 Peaks Music Festival in Bend OR at the end of June. In between, they will make stops at some of the top regional and national festivals in the country such as Aiken Bluegrass Festival, Sweetwater 420 Festival, Del Fest, Dark Star Jubilee, Campout for the Cause, Blue Ox Festival and Camp Greensky Music Festival.
For fans looking to see the band in a more intimate setting the band has a small run of non festival performances including stops in Austin and Houston, Texas as well as North Carolina, Virginia, Colorado and Montana. The tour will also feature a stop at Tipitina’s in New Orleans during Jazz Fest for a late night show with special guest Cedric Burnside. Two other notable shows are a night at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, TN with the Steep Canyon Rangers as well as an opening performance in support of Bela Fleck & The Flecktones in Salt Lake City, Utah.
