Suwannee Spring Reunion Piles On Its Already Amazing Lineup

The third annual Suwannee Spring Reunion festival is only a few weeks away, and we can’t wait to for the amazing festi-family reunion to begin. The March 21-24 festival is hosted once again at one of the most majestic musical venues east of the Mississippi, the Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park (SOSMP) in Live Oak, Florida.

The finalized lineup adds even more acts to this hot-ticket festival. Recently announced additions include Marty Stuart and His Fabulous Superlatives, Chatham County Line, Shawn Camp Band, Joe Craven & Hattie Craven, Daddy (Will Kimbrough & Tommy Womack), Balkun Brothers, and Cicada Rhythm, as well as Artists-at-Large Brett Bass and Nicholas Edwards Williams.

They join an already stellar list of acts including Steep Canyon Rangers, Billy Strings, Donna The Buffalo, Larry Keel Experience, Jim Lauderdale, Verlon Thompson, The Grass Is Dead, Jon Stickley Trio, Town Mountain, Rev. Jeff Mosier, The Mammals, Roy Book Binder, Pigeon Kings, Nora Jane Struthers, Ralph Roddenbery, TKO featuring Duke Bardwell, Nikki Talley, The Adventures of Annabelle Lyn, Quartermoon, Sloppy Joe, Habanero Honeys, Jeff Bradley – Comedy + Cool Stuff, and Tania & Magic Moon Traveling Circus.

Also, please note that Peter Rowan will unfortunately not be able to attend due to unforeseen circumstances, but he will be performing at sister festival Suwannee Roots Revival in October.

Suwannee Spring Reunion 2019

The SOSMP has a storied history, with decades of hosting music festivals and providing a premier camping experience among the old-growth oaks and magnolias along the historic Suwannee River. The Suwannee Spring Reunion festival was born out of that long tradition of bringing together musicians and festivillians and well organized staff for a spirited weekend of Americana, bluegrass, jam, funk and more.

This festival is truly a community built on love and peace through music. Whether you are a seasoned veteran or a first-timer, you will find yourself immersed in a magical musical experience surrounded by smiles on every face.

Along with the four stages filled with music, the festival campgrounds will offer food vendors (including vegan and vegetarian options), arts & crafts, musical workshops, yoga, and lots of activities for the little ones. This is also one of the best festivals for camp jams. From intimate family jams to late-night ragers, there will be music day and night all over the park. Check out the Bill Monroe Shrine and Slopryland for some serious picking. You never know who you might find jamming — or when. I have one big piece advice that I can offer: STAY Sunday night! The park thins out a bit, but the picking goes on all night with many of the acts staying just to jam in the campground.
