Telluride Bluegrass Festival Releases Tantalizing Initial Lineup for 2019
Winter has just begun, but bluegrass fans already have summer on their minds since the 46th annual Telluride Bluegrass Festival unveiled their initial 2019 lineup. To be held in Telluride’s picturesque Town Park from June 20-23, the event will feature a litany of stars from modern bluegrass including Brandi Carlile, Greensky Bluegrass, Bela Fleck & The Flecktones, Sam Bush Band, and Yonder Mountain String Band.
They will be joined by Leftover Salmon, Railroad Earth, The Tim O’Brien Band, Kacey Musgraves, Gregory Alan Isakov, Alison Brown, Becky Buler, Missy Raines and many more. Psychedelic progressive rocker and frontman for My Morning Jacket Jim James will also be there moonlighting with a full band along with The Punch Brothers and Lake Street Dive.
Highly anticipated performances include Leftover Salmon playing “Stories From The Living Room” and Sam Bush, Bela Fleck, Jerry Douglas, Edgar Meyer, Bryan Sutton, and Stuart Duncan coming together to form The Telluride House Band for what’s sure to be a legendary set.

With music running all day on the main stage, intimate free workshops on the Elks Park Stage, band and songwriting contests, and late-night concerts at nearly every indoor venue in Telluride, attendees are going to find their dance cards filled.
