Dream Portal Productions presents Taloa Music + Art Festival September 25-27, 2015, in the Cottonwood Flats, just blocks away from historic downtown Guthrie, OK. It is an all-ages, camping festival designed to delight the musical palates of multiple generations. Taloa taps an eclectic blend of down tempo, electro, funk, soul, jazz, hip hop, bluegrass and folk (new grass), blues-rock and red dirt stylings for a groundbreaking lineup.

Established artists like Jeff Austin Band, Andy Frasco & the U.N., The Damn Quails and The Werks capture root-based sounds, while artists like Late Night Radio, Krooked Drivers, Kinetik Groove, Eliot Lipp, Daily Bread and Resonant Frequency deliver exciting, original compositions that have captivated the attention of music lovers worldwide. Taloa rounds out the lineup with fan favorites: theNEWDEAL, Random Rab, Marco Benevento and Zoogma. Additional announcements will be made periodically to highlight other surprise artists in the lineup. In the meantime, concert enthusiasts are encouraged to let their minds run wild – Taloa producers promise several unexpected collaborations!

The inclusion of arts allows Taloa to achieve an inspirational, intimate atmosphere where imagination can blossom from visual, performance, yoga, presentation and workshops. “By presenting our audience with visionary art from all walks of life we hope to encourage free expression and togetherness, ideally opening new doorways for creativity and open mindedness,” says Art & Energy Coordinator, Katiel Gray. Taloa will also feature activities for all ages, including a national Spikeball tournament and Kids Tent.

Additionally, Taloa will be organizing a variety of community-based goodwill efforts for the City of Guthrie, including a book drive, food drive and musical instrument donation station. “Our initiative to improve local communities is the core value of our production efforts. We want to make a difference in people’s lives,” says Festival Coordinator, Mollie Farrell.
