The Planet Festival in Fruitland Park, Florida

The Planet Festival rolls into Windy Acres Farms in Fruitland Park FL Thursday, October 18th, for four days. Its express purpose: Raising awareness of social and environmental issues with music for the love of Christ.

This four-day festival features camping, workshops, and other activities. Showers and portable bathrooms are on site. There is music daily on the main stage from 11 AM until 11 PM, except Sunday, when the last performance begins at 2:15 PM. Many other bands and performers will also play on the Free Will Jam Stage.

THURSDAY

The first-night headliners are The Prestage Brothers. Also playing are Firewater Tent Revival, Shaw Davis & The Black Ties, Dirty Red & the SoulShakers, Grindstone Sinners, Somatic, and The Feeling Well.

FRIDAY

Holey Miss Moley, Eugene Snowden, and Side Hustle have the second night tied down securely. You’ll also hear Beautiful Bobby Blackmon, The Reality, and Toney Rocks. And Shaw Davis & The Black Ties are back for round two (they will also play Saturday).

SATURDAY

Russ Bowers Isn’t Dead Yet, the amazing collective, makes it one more Saturday night. And speaking of collectives, Legacy Orchestra Collective are also on tap. Add to those the Bridget Kelly Band, Revelry Soul, Melissa Crispo, and The Getbye.

SUNDAY

The final day ends with Irlene Mandrell. Somebody’s Sons opens, and in between you’ll see Forgiven Sinners, Bygone Brethren, Melancholy Weekend, Francesca Ani, and Redneck Country Club.

Other activities include Spider Song Flutes workshop, Robert Wilson Florida Living History, Coyote’s Natural Medicine, an herb workshop, medical qigong, and the Plastic Impact Project.
