Gov Ball Announces ‘After Dark’ Shows

Each year, the organizers of Governors Ball Music Festival ensure the party doesn’t stop when the festival closes with its’ ‘After Dark’ series of late-night shows throughout NYC and Brooklyn. Founders Entertainment just announced this year’s arrangement with shows surrounding the festival dates of Friday, June 1st, through Sunday, June 3rd. After Dark shows will also be happening leading up to the festival dates.

The After Dark schedule launches Wednesday night with performances from Aurora and Dirty Projector and Thursday night with sets from Jay Electronica and Berhana. Although the festival flyer states that Pond is playing a Thursday show, Gov Ball confirmed through Facebook that the show is actually Wednesday. Through the weekend you can also catch but aren’t limited to sets from Japandroids at Elsewhere, Galantis at Schimanski, Margo Price at Brooklyn Bowl, or VHS Collection at Mercury Lounge.
