Hard Rock Returns to Cocoa Beach This Weekend
This Presidents’ Day weekend, Cocoa Beach will be rockin’ for a full three days as 80’s in The Park hits the shores along the Atlantic for one the largest music festivals in the area February 16-18.
Rock Con, the festival’s sister event, will take place on the same grounds as the music festival on Saturday and Sunday. Rock Con will give those attending a chance to buy, sell, and trade music memorabilia and other collectibles. Many of the bands will be attending the event, which will give fans a chance to meet the bands who will be performing during the weekend.
80’s in The Park was initially scheduled September 22-24, 2017, but thanks to Hurricane Irma and the damage she caused, it had to be rescheduled. 2017 was certainly a year that caused Floridians great amount of anxiety with powerful storms that hit the entire state. The grounds have been repaired, and the show is ready to go on. It’s time for Cocoa Beach to welcome the bands who have been ready to rock since September.
This year’s lineup consists of some of rock’s heaviest hitters. Winger, LA Guns, Lynch Mob and House of Lords headline the weekend. This three-day event (including Rock Con) is sure to draw metal fans from the all parts of Florida.
