Suwannee Hulaween Announces Highly Anticipated 2017 Lineup
Summer festival season is in full swing, and while we are all out enjoying music and the great outdoors, after Labor Day many are left longing for warmer weather and the wonderfully weird times we love so much. That’s where Suwannee Hulaween comes in. Held October 27-29, 2017, in the beautiful Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park during what is usually one of the nicest months for Florida weather, Hula offers a little bit of everything for a festival goer. Scenic camping. Stunning art. Diverse music. Halloween costumes. What more could you want from a festival?
Well, a lineup, for starters. After announcing early last year, the wait seems to have been insufferable for people waiting to see what Hulaween would bring to their festival off-season this year. We’re surprised there haven’t been riots and protesting at Paul Levine‘s house by now.
At long last, however, we have it. And boy is it good. The three nights of The String Cheese Incident comes as no surprise (this is a Cheese fest, after all), and the rumors have finally been confirmed that mega DJ and divisive topic of conversation Bassnectar will be bringing the boom to the park. But even if Bassnectar has you raising your eyebrows at this year’s lineup, there are plenty of festival favorite and a HUGE variety of tunes to keep you busy all weekend. Hula welcomes back GriZ, who will most definitely have a better slot than noon on Sunday this time, The Disco Biscuits, Lettuce, Greensky Bluegrass, Ween, Portugal. the Man, Beats Antique, Run the Jewels, Vince Staples, RL Grime, Kamasi Washington, and many more. Plus the Thursday pre-party on October 26th AND there’s still more to be announced? If you can’t find something on this lineup that you like, then we don’t know what to tell ya.
Tickets are on sale now at www.suwanneehulaween.com, and trust us, you won’t want to wait on picking yours up for too long!
