Susquehanna Breakdown’s Fifth Year Brings Best Lineup Yet
Susquehanna Breakdown prepares to return to Montage Mountain in Scranton, PA, May 19-20th, with a lineup set perfectly for this tight-knit, two-day kick-off to what becomes a long (but fun) summer. Local hosts Cabinet grace the stage three times throughout festival, joined by some of the most talked-about names of the recent past. The Breakdown brings in some of the best in bluegrass for 2017 with up-and-coming acts like Greensky Bluegrass, The Wood Brothers, Billy Strings, The Kitchen Dwellers, and more. Headliner Greensky Bluegrass brings an uptempo twang in a huge way, blowing fans away each and every set as they dig deeper and deeper into the repertoire, testing their own abilities.
Acts like Turkuaz, Keller Williams (who is scheduled for a ‘Keller & Cabinet’ set) and Tommy Hamilton’s Breakdown Allstars expect to be the festival’s perfect balance between the laid-back relaxation of daytime bluegrass and the ambiance of a summer night with your good friends. Susquehanna is known for having all kinds of secret sets for VIP members and plenty of other surprises throughout the weekend. The Breakdown is as easy and affordable as they come. With camping set on the lawn of the Pavilion at Montage and music just a short walk away, tickets are available through the festival website for $70 with camping included or $100 for VIP and a family-type surrounding, Susquehanna Breakdown seems like a heartfelt weekend of music and a perfect choice for music lovers of all ages.
