Satsang Is Finishing Summer Tour Strong
Satsang has grown and evolved tremendously since our first interview with them last summer. Plenty of new happenings within their circle! They released a new record this year titled The Story Of You and are finishing up their 20-date tour in the next few days. The full three-piece music collective consisting of drums, bass, guitar, and harmony, accompanied Sun Dried Vibes for a few tour dates and will be sharing the stage with Nahko and Medicine For The People on June 26 (tonight!). Drew McManus, Karl Roth, and Keller Paulson will then head back home to Montana to recharge, performing next on July 6 at YVBC in Billings. July 16th will begin their next road journey the Northwest String Summit. Also among new beginnings came the signing with Artifact Management and Sweetwine Entertainment Group this year.

Another new music debut from the crew came earlier this month. It was the single “Be Love,” featuring MusicFestNews alum Tubby Love. It is a hearfelt message that can be a mantra for any moment in life. The men have teamed up with Wookiefoot and Be The Change Charities to raise funds for an amazing group of people who are leading a healing movement with young women that have been victimized by sex trafficking in Nepal and India. This single is available for a donation-based download, and Be The Change will be matching anything they raise and then giving the money directly to this charity.

Lead vocalist Drew McManus shared his thoughts regarding his experiences from this tour. What he said was powerful. “I was not built for anything else but this. Dharma is a funny thing. Once it is actualized it can’t be turned away from. This is just our life now. Travel. Write. Perform. Pray. Repeat.
