Don’t Miss the MindSpring Music and Arts Festival!
It’s a beautiful time of year. Festival season! For those of you who feel like you are still stuck within the never-ending grasp of winter, never fear: Florida is here with another great little weekend festival for you with MindSpring Music Festival!
St. Augustine has had a really great run lately coming off of a great time the other weekend at Fool’s Paradise. Our nation’s oldest city is now welcoming a formidable lineup at the St. John’s County Fairgrounds.
Pick your poison at this one, because it is stacked with everything you could want from a festy. Too Many Zooz is topping the bill with a really great funk/ska fusion from NYC (oh those horns!). They also have Dan Deacon coming on down from Baltimore with a live show experience you have to see to believe. Passafire will treat you to some really amazing psychedelic reggae fusion, and that’s just the tip of the iceberg, There’s also some out-of-this-world home-grown Florida punk coming at you from Whole Wheat Bread and many other beyond-entertaining folks from all around the Sunshine State, including friends Holy Miss Moley, S.P.O.R.E, The Psychedelic Monks, The Getbye (have you ever seen someone play the accordion and the trumpet at the same time?) and so, so much more.
This mighty little festival is boasting over 60 bands, DJs and MCs for your earholes to enjoy, as well as on-site camping and late-night entertainment for the 18-and-up crowd, as well as a silent disco, vintage games, yoga and meditation, and more! We have had a lot of first-time festivals pop up this year, and they all have been amazing so far!
