Northside Festival Announces Stacked First Round Lineup
Now in its seventh year, Northside is a discovery festival founded by Northside Media Group, taking place in North Brooklyn. Programming is broken into three major components over the course of a week: Music, Innovation and Film. This years event will take place June 6 -12 at venues all over north Brooklyn. Northside takes place in pretty much every venue, concert space and screening room in the Williamsburg and Greenpoint neighborhoods of Brooklyn, which makes bopping/walking/running/biking around from event to event nice and easy, at least by New York standards. At the hub of the action is McCarren Park, where all the biggest names will play.
This years initial lineup includes Kacey Musgraves and Conor Oberst co-headlining an outdoor Northside show on June 11 with The Felice Brothers; and then Brian Wilson will perform Pet Sounds on June 12 with opening sets from ROSTAM and Hinds. This is just the tip of the iceberg, over the course of four days over 400 bands, 150 speakers and 100 content creators will take over the trendiest neighborhood in America to bring you the latest in greatest in the scene.
