The Motet are Lovin’ Their Love Time Tour!

Colorado’s The Motet are already three shows into their Love Time Tour, with the next show Wednesday, March 12, at SOhO Music Club in Santa Barbara. Next up are a pair of dates with killer horn-driven funksters Polyrhythmics from Seattle in San Francisco and Crystal Bay.

They have a great pairing with Cool Cool Cool April 19 at the Ogden Theatre, and one week later they all move the base of operations to the Crescent City for a very special Purple Party: A Tribute to Prince at the Toulouse Theatre with five members of Cool Cool Cool plus Casey Russell (Magic Beans) and Lyle Divinsky (formerly with The Motet). The following night, they have a second Jazz Fest date, this time with Toubab Krewe at The Broadside.

Added to the schedule are seven Southern dates along with fabulous rockers Dizgo, four of those in Florida. And the festival calendar is filling up, with appearances already slated at Casual Campout, Greeley Blues Jam, Live Oak Music Festival in San Luis Obispo, and the amazing Bender Jamboree.

Their funk, to quote head Funkateer George Clinton, is:
