Melody Trucks & Jackson Stokes Gang Up on Florida Again!

Last January, rocker Jackson Stokes and jam master percussionist and singer Melody Trucks toured Florida together, combining forces for seven shows. This January, Trucks will play with Stokes for shows in Tallahassee, Boca Raton, and in Jacksonville. Stokes’ rhythm section features Paul Brackens on bass and Ben Bicklein on drums.

Trucks will perform January 19 at Big Top Brewing Company featuring guitarist Jeff Lloyd (The Heavy Pets) with Brackens and Bicklein. The following day, Stokes, Brackens, and Bicklein will play. This is a change from the tour poster.

In February, Trucks will be back on board Jam Cruise 21 as an instructor and mentor for the Masters Camp at Sea program, joining with brother Vaylor Trucks and Nigel Hall, Nikki Glaspie, Kanika Moore, Benny Bloom and other standouts to help aspiring musicians develop and grow. This has been the Trucks’ work ever since their late father Butch Trucks founded the Roots Rock Revival program.
