The Return of the Son of… with Dweezil Zappa! … Some More!
The Rox(Postroph)y Tour launched last August and September with 30 dates across the U.S., celebrating 50 years of Apostrophe (‘) and Roxy and Elsewhere. Dweezil Zappa offered this:
“It’s been a long time since I’ve been on stage playing the music I love. I’m inspired to try new things and looking forward to playing with the best musicians I know. I’ll be bringing a hot setlist of Frank Zappa classics and personal favorites to all of the fans. If you have never heard my father’s music this might be the tour to start your obsession.”
But perhaps they missed your hometown (or somewhere reasonably close). Dweezil has a remedy for that: 33 more shows featuring this critically important music. There are 15 dates in January, stretching from California, across Texas, to Florida, and winding up working in Nashville. April is stuffed with 18 more shows up and down the East Coast and into Canada, beginning in Tennessee, where they left off!
