The Motet Pump Up Their ‘Love Time’ Tour
Denver’s funk juggernaut The Motet are ready to polish off 2024 and blast into 2025 with the huge West Coast and Colorado Love Time Tour. The sextet are celebrating the release of fabulous new album Love Time (November 15).
They will hit Colorado Springs and Fort Collins, then recharge for a huge New Year’s Eve show at 10 Mile Music Hall in Frisco with like-minded funksters Cool Cool Cool. The first leg of the 2025 tour features three colorado shows, followed by shows dancing through Washington, Oregon, Utah, and Idaho through the middle of February.
The March run begins in Arizona and then five California dates and one in Crystal Bay NV, including two matching up with the superb Polyrhythmics. The long view finds them amidst the insanity of Bender Jamboree in September, with much, much more to come in between!
Funk, soul, jazz, Afrobeat, and rock — this band does it all! The Motet are: Dave Watts (drums), Joey Porter (keys), Garrett Sayers (bass), Drew Sayers (keys and saxophone), Ryan Jalbert (guitar), and Sarah Clarke, (vocals).
