Spafford: Serving Up Stunning Jams Wherever They Go

Spafford will roll from Wisconsin to Georgia, opening with the first of three nights at Vivarium in Milwaukee tonight (Friday, December 6). After a short break, the quartet will head to Phoenix for a special acoustic show at Last Exit Live, then ring in the new year at Marquee Theatre in Tempe with special guests Red & Cam. The January calendar features six Florida dates, four in Texas, and one show in Little Rock.

They have two very special four-night SpaffSki events in February (and into March), the first at Old Town Pub in Steamboat Springs and the second at The Public House in Crested Butte. The March shows are concentrated on the East Coast primarily, beginning with a pair at Broad Brook Opera House in East Windsor CT and wrapping up with a three-night stand at Soundcheck Studios in Pembroke MA.

Spafford have been tearing it up, especially this fall, including a short-notice afternoon set at Suwannee Hulaween before their late-night Spirit Lake extravaganza. We scribbled:

The set Spafford threw down in the late-night slot was a stunning jam fest. After “Double Time” and a fun cover of “Land Down Under,” the group took off! The flow was intense, as they were locked in tight. One of the best sets of Hula, for me.
