Marvelous Funkshun: Awesome New Single and Concert with Eric Gales

Winston-Salem’s powerhouse sacred steel jam band Marvelous Funkshun have an outstanding new song out, and they will join The Eric Gales Band for a show at The Millennium Center on December 28.

Marvelous Funkshun released excellent album Instru-Mental last March. Band leader and guitarist Sam Robinson is joined by the brilliant pedal steel guitar wizard Durell Randolph. The band includes Will Bagley on bass and Zach Landon on drums.

New single “Truman” highlights the great work of Randolph, the power of the rhythm section, and Robinson’s fine guitar solo. Also prominent is the contribution of keyboard master John Gros of Papa Grows Funk, who sat in on the recording session. of Check out more of this great band’s work on all the platforms.
