Tire Fire Release Magnificent New Video “Lift You Up”

The sextet Tire Fire represent the real meaning of the Florida-Georgia line, with members from both states combining to make wonderful music across a variety of genres including Americana, bluegrass, folk, and some raucous feel-great music as well. After wonderful performances all around the area, including several at House of Lost at Suwannee Hulaween, they have released their second video, this time for “Lift You Up.” (The first one was for “Zoe.”)

The song, written by Arrie Bozeman, features this fine group in an idyllic setting, fitting for Bozeman’s lyrics. The audio was produced by Adam Horwitz and mastered by Andy Lytle. Toddi Babu directed the video, filmed at Glory Road Gardens, with B camera operator Zach McNeela. Hair and makeup artists were Courtney Calo and Jacquelyn Courchene. Jessie Bennett designed the album artwork.

Tire Fire are: Arrie Bozeman, acoustic guitar, vocals; Dani Jaye, fiddle,, vocals; Trey Miller, banjo, vocals; Sean Hartley, bass, vocals; Justin Davis, mandolin, vocals; and Dave Gerulat, drums, vocals.

LIFT YOU UP

These eyes, saw the spirit move around you in the night
so bright
and these hands, made to serve the only God I ever knew
carry the tune
and this heart is steady beating with the rhythm of your songs
on and on
and my feet, never fail me when its time to move along
move along
move along

Move along

And these arms were made to lift you up
cover me and I’ll hold ya
these arms were made to lift you up
cover me and i’ll hold ya

Long legs, made to drive this tiny body far and wide
and these lungs, carry music down the mountainside,
down the mountainside
and this art is steady thumping to the rhythm of your souls
and our people, they will always give us cause to carry on
carry on
carry on
carry on
I dare you now you should carry on

these arms were made to lift you up
cover me and i’ll hold ya
these arms were made to lift you up, you up
cover me and i’ll hold ya
I’ll hold you
these arms were made to lift you up
cover me and i’ll hold ya
These arms were made to lift you up
cover me and i’ll hold ya
cover me and i’ll hold ya
cover me and i’ll hold ya
you cover me and i’ll hold ya

“Lift You Up” is a wonderful addition to our music space, and it is a lovely companion to “Beyond the Blue,” the latest single by Barb Carbon of The Ain’t Sisters; Arrie Bozeman is also an Ain’t Sister!

Please enjoy and share both!
