Karina Rykman: Big Finish for 2024, Festivals Galore in 2025

Karina Rykman, the little lady with the big bass, is ready to put the finishing touches on 2024 before a new year already full of festival appearances, with many more shows and fests to come. She just rocked the main stage at Suwannee Hulaween, and this week she headlines Sunshine Hootenany Music & Arts Festival in Brooksville, Florida, along with moe. and Dogs in a Pile.

Rykman, whose power trio includes Adam November on guitar, loopers, and effects and Chris Corsico on drums, will be in the Northeast for her December shows, including a pair at Nectar’s and dates in Cambridge, Philadelphia, and Portland. You may also know Rykman as the dancing bass sprite who plays in Marco Benevento’s band.

Rykman and trio already have five festivals on the 2025 calendar, beginning with Gov’t Mule’s Island Exodus, Dave Matthews & Tim Reynolds Riviera Maya, My Morning Jacket’s One Big Holiday, Northlands Music & Arts Festival, and Bender Festival.
