Dopapod: Big Tour, Big Announcement
Boston quartet Dopapod have been very busy gents this year, and they are about to get busier with a loaded calendar into November. The windup of their summer tour begins Thursday (August 1) at Moontown Brewing Company in Whitestown, Indiana. Then they hook up with TAUK and The Motet for an incredible three-night run (read more about that here).
Dopapod and The Motet will join forces at the end of August for two more dates in the Northeast, before Dopapod heads to Morgantown and then to Summerdance Festival at Nelson Ledges Quarry Park. This leg of the tour heads to Tennessee and Chicago (four shows with Kendall Street Company) before looping back, with three dates joined by Chalk Dinosaur before closing out with shows at Bearsville Theater and Wormtown Music Festival at Camp Kee-wanee.
After a month off, Dopapod will gear back up with a pair of Missouri shows before 13 dates up and down the West Coast, including a Halloween show at Volcanic Theater Pub in Bend, Oregon.
Dopapod are: Eli Winderman [keys, vocals], Rob Compa [guitar, vocals], Chuck Jones [bass], and Neal “Fro” Evans [drums].
