Cool Cool Cool Back in Action: Festivals, Concerts, and Shows with Jerry Harrison & Adrian Belew: Remain in Light

Jerry Harrison and Adrian Belew are taking their remarkably successful Remain in Light tour out for another seven shows beginning tonight (Friday, July 26) at Bogart’s in Cincinnati. They are quick to acknowledge that this project simply wouldn’t happen without the support of Cool Cool Cool, who have played with them for three years.

Cool Cool Cool will play in support of Harrison and Belew through August 4, with shows in Ohio, New York, Maine, New Hampshire, and New Jersey. The Cool Cool Cool kids then head to the Telluride Jazz Festival and then to Belden CA and the For The Funk Of It Music Festival for headlining shows; how appropriate! Lots more on the calendar, including the Adirondack Independence Music & Arts Festival and Whale Rock Music & Arts Festival!

Cool Cool Cool are: Craig Brodhead, guitar, synths; Chris Brouwers, trumpet, keyboards; Michael Carubba, drums; Shira Elias, vocals; Sammi Garett, vocals; Greg Sanderson, tenor saxophone; and Rodrigo “Digo” Zambrano, bass. For the Remain in Light shows, former Cool Cool Cool member Josh Schwartz (baritone saxophone, vocals) returns, and Julie Slick, the Adrian Belew power trio bassist, replaces Zambrano.
