A Whole Lotta Bill: Celebrating the Music of Bill Withers

Enjoy an evening of A Whole Lotta Bill this Friday, July 12, at Skipper’s Smokehouse in Tampa. The band features members from Holey Miss Moley and The Legendary JCs and two-time American Idol contestant David Oliver Willis! Known for their authentic renditions of Withers’ timeless classics, including hits such as “Ain’t No Sunshine,” “Lean on Me,” and “Lovely Day,” A Whole Lotta Bill promises an unforgettable night of music and memories.

Bass player Kenny Harvey is pumped.

”We’re thrilled to pay homage to the incomparable Bill Withers and share his music with fans old and new. Withers’ music has touched the hearts of so many, and we’re honored to keep his legacy alive through our performances.”

Harvey, who played bass for years with Holey Miss Moley among other Tampa area bands, will be joined by HMM bandmate Danny Joe on vocals, paired up with Willis for an exciting evening. Other members of Holey Miss Moley in the collaboration are Jacob Cox, guitar, and Mikey Guzman, keyboards. Anthony Townsky Diaz of The Legendary JCs will be featured at drum kit.

This should be an outstanding night of music from some fabulous players. There are no tickets available in advance; all ticket sales will be at the door.

Me, I’m hoping for a righteous “Better Off Dead”!
