The Summer Soulstice Festival was a hot one

Heartwood Soundstage hosted some of the best local, regional, and national R&B bands for the Summer Soulstice Festival.  Funk was in the air, and there was much dancing and some great performances. Curated by Gainesvilleโ€™s own Savants of Soul, it was a fine night. The Voodoo Child Trio did an amazing Jimi Hendrix tribute set, and Orlandoโ€™s Raspberry Pie had everyone up and dancingโ€ฆ and they went into the crowd to make sure, as did the Shaelyn Band. Hereโ€™s a gallery of what went down, plus a short video.
