Suwannee Roots Revival added some great acts to lineup

Mid-October always means Suwannee Roots Revival at the Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park, and a number of performers have just been added to the weekend. Headliners Old Crow Medicine Show and Yonder Mountain String Band will be joined by Molly Tuttle and Golden Highway, Jim Lauderdale and His Game Changers Band,  Paul McDonald and the Mourning Doves, The Mosier Brothers, The Grass Is Dead, Jon Stickley Trio,  Verlon Thompson, Walter Parks & The Unlawful Assembly, The Sauce Boss, sacred steel heroes The Lee Boys, Ralph Roddenbery, The Fried Turkeys, Grateful Dawg with Billy Gilmore and Mickey Abraham, and Big Cosmo’s Band with a Very Special Tribute to Randy Judy.  I’m particularly excited because two of my favorite bands, Della Mae and Henhouse Prowlers, will be there as well. Lots of regular Suwannee family will be there, too, including Peter Rowan, Donna the Buffalo, Sloppy Joe, and Quartermoon. And recent returnees The Ain’t Sisters and Blair Crimmins and the Hookers will be turning up the temperature. This should be a great time under the oaks and down by the river. Early bird pricing is available for a few more weeks, but now’s the time to get them.
