Memorial Day means the Florida Folk Festival
The 72nd annual Florida Folk Festival will be held Memorial Day weekend, May 24-26, at Stephen Foster Folk Culture Center State Park in White Springs.
The festival is a three-day celebration of the music, dance, stories, crafts, and food that make Florida unique. With 11 stages, including a kid’s play area, multiple workshops, and international artists, it’s a great way to spend the holiday weekend.
Featured performers this year include The Lee Boys, the Peyton Brothers, Ben Prestage, Walter Parks, The Currys, The Firewater Tent Revival, and Jim Stafford.
This year the festival will again host the Sacred Steel Summit that hosted surprise guests Derek Trucks and Susan Tedeschi last year.
