Cool Cool Cool: Never Noticed Tour And LOTS More!

Cool Cool Cool are about to launch their Never Noticed tour, named for the first original recording the band released in November. They have been playing lots of original music on tour, but “Never Noticed” is the first official single release from the band. Since our last look, they have added another ten dates to their calendar, including four more festival dates.

The first show on this tour is at the revamped Whippersnap Music & Arts Festival, now in Brooksville, Florida. From there, they head to the Miami Beach Bandshell for the Jam Cruise pre-party February 24 before they hop on the boat for Jam Cruise 20, where they will play and will also support Remain in Light with Jerry Harrison and Adrian Belew.

Their Never Noticed tour continues with shows opening for and supporting Remain in Light on the East Coast in March and in Colorado in April. They will pair up again this summer with Remain in Light for more shows.

The new additions to the band’s calendar begin with dates in April, including The Foundry in Waynesboro VA with The Nth Power. They have two amazing shows coming up during Jazzfest. The first is Daze Between New Orleans at Faubourg Brewery April 30. They are also part of the huge Bayou Rendezvous at The Howlin’ Wolf.

Daze Between New Orleans on April 30 will bring to the stage Lettuce with John Scofield, the Dirty Dozen Brass Band, the Krasno/Moore Project, Dogs in a Pile, and The Rumble featuring Chief Joseph Boudreaux Jr. The lineup for Bayou Rendezvous: New Orleans All-Stars, The Rumblem Adam Deitch DJ/producer set with Benny Bloom & guests, Sgt. Splendor, three mind-blowing collaborations, and a fourth one playing during Sunrise Breakfast.

Cool Cool Cool have also added more festival appearances: Bonfire Music & Arts Festival, Northlands Music & Arts Festival, High Sierra Music Festival, and Telluride Jazz Festival.

Cool Cool Cool are: Craig Brodhead, guitar, synths; Chris Brouwers, trumpet, keyboards; Michael Carubba, drums; Shira Elias, vocals; Sammi Garett, vocals; Greg Sanderson, tenor saxophone; and Josh Schwartz, baritone saxophone, vocals. Rodrigo “Digo” Zambrano (Electric Kif) has been playing bass with them for about a year.
