Resonate Suwannee Doubles Down on Brilliant Format
Resonate Suwannee returns to the Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park in Live Oak, Florida, April 4-6, and they have opted to employ the same brilliant format that made last yearโs event so successful. Resonate Suwannee is presented by the park, Essential Productions, STS9, and Purple Hat Productions.
The bands and the electronic and EDM artists on the lineup are split just about 50-50, and there are two stages in use for the festival. Recall for a moment that, logistically speaking, the amphitheater is much better equipped to handle bands and all of their equipment. Uncle Charlesโ Porch Stage, at the top of the hill, has a considerably smaller capacity for handling equipment.
DECISION: All of the bands are on the AMP Stage, and all of the EDM artists and DJs are on the Porch Stage. See? Brilliant!! We alternate all weekend between the two stages and the two styles of performance.
Actually, make that three stages! Paul Levine of Purple Hat Productions revealed that there will also be late-night music in the Music Hall, highlighting some up-and-coming artists. Levine, the master talent wrangler, has again curated a lineup reminiscent of Bear Creek Music & Arts Festival and Purple Hatterโs Ball, two of Levineโs sensational events previously presented at Live Oak.
At the top of the bill are hosts STS9 (Sound Tribe Sector 9), playing four sets over two nights, including Chromalight and Axe the Cables sets. They will be joined by heavy-hitters Tycho, Papadosio, and Chromeo.
The great lineup for the AMP Stage continues with The New Mastersounds, Dumpstaphunk, SunSquabi, Ghost-Note, lespecial, and Sneezy.
Electronic and EDM artists abound, with K+Lab, KR3TURE, Maddy OโNeal, Mark Farina, Late Night Radio, Megan Hamilton, Minder, Moontricks, Ott., Sub-ID, Zach Velmer, and Thought Process.
The excellent undercard includes Afrobeta, Austen van den Bleek, Ben Conch & Friends, Booty Boo, Future Joy, Humandala, LPT, Sauce Pocket, SIDE TRAKD, Skiz, and one of the parkโs best ambassadors, the ubiquitous Vlad the Inhaler.
And there are two more major additions coming in January!
The 2023 edition was magnificent. This yearโs promises to top it! You DO NOT want to miss it! Grab those tickets now. They make great gifts!
