Foreigner Announces Farewell Residency in Las Vegas

Legendary rock and roll titans Foreigner announced today a two-part Las Vegas residency as part of the band’s current Historic Farewell Tour. Founding Foreigner member Mick Jones and frontman Kelley Hansen announced the decision to end the band’s run last November ending their 46-years presence. This summer Foreigner has been trekking across America on the farewell tour that kicked off in July and will continue well into 2024. The announcement states that Foreigner’s Sin City run will take place in two phases, the first on March 6 through April 6. The second leg of the residency returns in October with announced dates of October 25 through November 9, 2024. Both residencies taking place at The Venetian Theater inside The Venetian Resort in Las Vegas.
Foreigner is comprised of Mick Jones, Jeff Pilson, Kelly Hansen, Michael Bluestein, Chris Frazier, Bruce Watson, and Luis Maldonado. Since their formation, the roster has included over two dozen members, notably including singer Lou Gramm, Dennis Elliott, Al Greenwood, Ian McDonald, and Jason Bonham. Due to health concerns, Mick Jones has appeared infrequently during the farewell tour, appearing more as a special guest that a touring member.
Since forming in 1976, Foreigner has released nine studio albums, selling more than 50 million records worldwide. With such an extended catalog of songs, the band has notched nine top-10 singles on the Billboard Hot 100. Some of the band’s most recognized tunes include “Feels Like the First Time,” “I Want to Know What Love Is,” “Hot Blooded,” “Double Vision,” and “Urgent.”
