Les Claypool’s Fearless Flying Frog Brigade, Remain in Light Play Last Show Together in Tampa

Les Claypool’s Fearless Flying Frog Brigade embarked on a huge 41-date tour across the U.S. from the middle of May and stretching through the middle of July. Eleven of those dates also featured Remain in Light, the superb Talking Heads show headlined by Jerry Harrison and Adrian Belew and featuring Cool Cool Cool. Their final date together was on Tuesday, June 20, at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Tampa. Remain in Light features Jerry Harrison and Adrian Belew of Talking Heads on guitar and vocals), the members of Cool Cool Cool (Craig Brodhead, guitar, synths; Chris Brouwers, trumpet, keyboards; Michael Carubba, drums; Shira Elias, vocals; Sammi Garett, vocals; Greg Sanderson, tenor saxophone; and Josh Schwartz, baritone saxophone, vocals), and Julie Slick on bass, and Yahuba Garcia-Torres on percussion.

This edition of Les Claypool’s Fearless Flying Frog Brigade features Claypool on basses and vocals and Sean Lennon on guitar and vocals, joined by Mike Dillon, percussion; Paolo Baldi, drums; Harry Waters, keyboards. Since Skerik was unable to make this tour, Sanderson and Schwartz guested on saxophone during the bands’ tour together.
