Original Phish Horn Section Giant Country Horns Join Pink Talking Fish for Select Tour Dates

Super group Pink Talking Fish are having a banner year in 2023 with memorable performances throughout the spring celebrating the 50th anniversary of Pink Floyd’s Dark Side Of The Moon. Now in the midst of their summer/fall tour, things are heating up for the band even more with the addition The Giant Country Horns for shows on December 1 and 2.

Made up of alto saxophonist Dave “The Truth” Grippo, tenor saxophonist Carl “Gears” Gerhard, and trumpeter Russel “Killer” Remington, The Giant Country Horns were Phish’s original horn section who toured and recorded with the band. They will be joining PTF on Friday, December 1 in Burlington VT at Higher Ground and Saturday, December 2 in Keene, NH at The Colonial Theatre. 



The Giant Country Horns have played with  PTF a handful of times in the past and are back for more. They’ll be be revisiting classic Phish songs with the band along with exploring the music of Pink Floyd, Talking Heads, and more.
