Troy Youngblood Did Tennessee, Ready to Do Florida
A very familiar faces is once again about to grace stages around the Tampa Bay area, as Troy Youngblood continues his concert tour. He just waltzed through Tennessee and is heading south as we speak. this coming weekend will be filled with his stylish purple hat, that beautiful deep voice, and his amazing song-stories.
At home now in Maine, Youngblood performs in BookHead SweetTooth and Smoke & Mojo. He was a founding member of the revered Skull and Bone Band and also put together the excellent band The Soulfish. Both of those and other configurations will be featured on stages in Tampa and in Gulfport.
THURSDAY, MAY 18
On Thursday Crowbar in Ybor City will throw a bang with Troy Youngblood & the Soulfish, The Skull and Bone Band, and George Pennington & The Odyssey (Pennington was a later member of The Soulfish). Doors at 8 p.m.
FRIDAY, MAY 19
Friday Troy Youngblood & the Soulfish and The Skull and Bone Band play The Blueberry Patch in Gulfport. Doors at 7 p.m.
SUNDAY, MAY 21
Sunday at Ella’s Americana Folk Art Cafe in Tampa catch Troy Youngblood & Friends, with a 3 p.m. start.
MONDAY, MAY 22
Finally, on Monday, Youngblood will be the featured songwriter at Crowbar for George Pennington’s Mojo Monday. Doors at 8 p.m.
