Lettuce & Steel Pulse Combine Forces for Big Summer Tour

Two venerable bands are touring together this summer for 14 big dates* up and down the East Coast. Lettuce and Steel Pulse, with special guest Makua Rothman, begin the tour at the Miami Beach Bandshell June 15, with three more Florida dates before heading as far north as Cape Cod, and there is a special 4th of July show at The Caverns in Pelham.

Although technically not part of the tour, the two bands will also play together at the stunningly curated WasFest on June 25*, with Steel Pulse performing their 1982 album True Democracy and Lettuce with very special guest Judith Hill performing Aretha Franklin’s Live at Fillmore West (1970)!

Venerable? Lettuce have been in the funk biz for 31 year. However, Steel Pulse are marking their 48 anniversary!!!

Lettuce have more dates (which we have separated from the tour with Steel Pulse), beginning with a four-night run at Blue Note Jazz Club in New York, one concert with the San Francisco Symphony at Stern Grove Festival, one with the Utah Symphony at Deer Valley Music Festival, and festival appearances at The Peach, Secret Dreams, The Big Stomp, Reggae Rise Up, and Hulaween. And Jam Cruise next February.
