FOMO (fear of missing out) just got real for Jam Cruise fans everywhere. Destination events company Cloud 9 Adventures announced an expansive, mind-boggling lineup for its 20th anniversary edition set for February 25 – March 1. Topped by moe., Medeski, Martin & Porter (featuring master Senegalese griot percussionist Aba Diop), Cory Wong, and Jerry Harrison & Adrian Belew: Remain In Light, the diverse billing will feature returning Jam Cruise veterans as well as cutting-edge newcomers, making this one of the most exciting offerings yet.

Jam Cruise stalwarts who were on the floating festival’s very first sailing in 2004 include “house band” Galactic (featuring Angelika “Jelly” Joseph), Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe, Keller Williams (performing as Keller Williams’ Grateful Grass featuring The Hillbenders plus one solo set), and special guest Disco Biscuits bassist Marc Brownstein. Also returning will be JC favorites Lettuce, Dumpstaphunk, Lotus, The New Mastersounds and more. Joining them will be cherished Jam Cruise stars Steel Pulse, Chali 2na & Cut Chemist, DJ Logic, DJ Soul Sister, Ivan (Neville) & Friends, Krasno Moore Project, The Sweet Lilies, Ryan Montbleau Band, Mike D (Dillon) Super Jam, Everyone Orchestra, and Cool Cool Cool, among others.

Jam Cruise veterans Eric Krasno, Nikki Glaspie, Nigel Hall, Vaylor Trucks, George Porter, Jr., Stanton Moore along with Ross James and Jimi’s Dead will also be leading the event’s popular Masters Camp At Sea.
For many fans, the joy of discovering new talent is a highlight of their trip. These newcomers include Perpetual Groove, Franc Moody, Próxima Parada, Magic Beans, Eggy, and J & The Causeways. There will also be special guests popping up all over the ship including Duane Betts, Kanika Moore, Adryon de León, Cris Jacobs, Lyle Divinsky, and Elise Sistone.

The 2024 event takes place on the luxurious MSC Divina with stops in Montego Bay, Jamaica, and Grand Cayman. Music happens almost round-the-clock, and attendees can roam between multiple venues where epic collaborations take place including the Pool Deck, Pantheon Theatre, Black & White Jam Room, Jazz Lounge, Galaxy Disco, The Atrium, and The Spot, a pop-up site with surprise guests.
Once again this coming year, charitable organization Positive Legacy will be on hand integrating music and service into the experience. Positive Legacy initiatives work to positively impact the environment, offset the carbon footprint of traveling, and support the local communities who welcome Jam Cruise to their shores. With an annual Day of Service while in port and onboard activities, Positive Legacy is able to raise funds to further their charity efforts in the surrounding areas.
Those who reserved a spot during the pre-book period will be able to select a cabin starting May 9. Any remaining cabins will go on sale to the public at 1pm ET on May 12. Click on the links below for more details.
