Gov Ball Artist Replacement & Set Times
Founders Entertainment has officially released the full weekend schedule for the 2023 Governors Ball Music Festival. The set times are now exclusively available via the Gov Ball Mobile App.
Gov Ball After Dark Series
Simultaneously, the anticipated release of this year’s Gov Ball After Dark series has been announced, too! If you’re not familiar with the After Dark events, it’s a variety of Gov Ball acts performing in late-night shows throughout Manhattan and Brooklyn during the festival weekend. Each night, immediately following the close of the nightly headliners, the after dark shows begin. You can catch acts like Metro Boomin at Schimanski, Sofi Tukker at Marquee, Flipturn at Mercury Lounge, and many more.
Tickets for Gov Ball After Dark shows go on sale this Friday, May 12 at 10 a.m. ET via GovBall.com, while a limited presale will be available for Citi® Cardmembers beginning Tuesday, May 9 at 10 a.m. ET (Citi® Gov Ball After Dark Pre-Sale).
Remi Wolf is in the House
Earlier this year Davido dropped out of the fest, and the event responded by replacing their slot with all-star Metro Boomin. Just this week, the fest announced that Omar Apollo would be also dropping from the weekend, and in his place they are bringing out Remi Wolf. Remi Wolf hails from the Bay area and has an eclectic background. She’s was once a junior Olympic ski racer and was also once an American Idol contestant. She found internet fame via TikTok with her hit “Photo ID” in the prime of the pandemic. Since then, she’s taking the festival world by storm this summer with stops at Bonnaroo, Newport Folk Fest, Kilby Block Party and of course now, Gov Ball.
