Strings & Sol Reveals 2023 Lineup Featuring Headliners Greensky Blue Grass and Yonder Mountain String Band
Strings & Sol returns to the balmy climes of Puerto Morelos, Mexico, this winter with a host of bluegrass heavyweights including headliners Greensky Bluegrass and Yonder Mountain String Band. Set to take place December 6-10 at Sapphire Resort & Spa, the four-day-annual event will also feature The Del McCoury Band, The Travelin’ McCoury’s, Railroad Earth, Leftover Salmon, and more.
Produced by destination events company Cloud 9 Adventures, Strings & Sol will also showcase the talents of bluegrass up-and-comers The Lil Smokies and Lindsay Lou. Additionally Sierra Hull and Justin Moses join the party as special guests.
Greensky Bluegrass and Yonder Mountain String Band will each perform three shows, with two shows each from Railroad Earth, The Infamous Stringdusters, Leftover Salmon, The Lil Smokies, and Lindsay Lou. The Del McCoury Band and The Travelin’ McCourys will perform one set each.
The Strings & Sol experience extends well beyond the stage, with a variety of artist interactions, instrument workshops, beachside jam sessions, and theme nights. In addition to the happenings on property, Guests can also enjoy off-site excursions to explore the beauty and culture of the surrounding Riviera Maya region extending from Cancun to Tulum.
Once again this year, Strings & Sol continues its partnership with Positive Legacy, a charitable organization that plans hands-on opportunities for fans and artists to give back to the local communities surrounding Cloud 9 destination events. Positive Legacy’s Strings & Sol 2023 offering focuses on the Puerto Morelos community.
The 2022 edition of Strings & Sol hosted a very successful Day of Service where event guests helped expand a local high school. The annual Charity Auction raised more than $13,000 to support student success in the local community with all proceeds benefiting ongoing projects in the area. More information will be released in the coming months on ways to leave a positive legacy in the region during Strings & Sol 2023.
