Sound On Sound Music Festival Announces 2023 Lineup

Sound on Sound festival has announced its 2023 lineup, with stellar headliners Red Hot Chili Peppers, John Mayer, and Alanis Morrissette. The event takes place in Bridgeport, Connecticut’s Seaside Park from September 30 to October 1. SOS is the sister festival to Founders’ Governors Ball.

Additionally, The Trey Anastasio Band, Nathaniel Rateliff & the Night Sweats, Hozier, Lord Huron, Margo Price and more will participate in this years festivities. The fest’s inaugural event in 2022 included major stars such as Stevie Nicks, Father John Misty, Dave Matthews, and Brandi Carlile.

BIG CHANGES COMING

This is only their second year, and already they’re making big moves to this year’s event. Changes include more food vendors and upgraded bathrooms and especially that artists will perform back-to-back on the same stage. That’s right! There will be no set overlap.

Mayor Ganim stated, “The City of Bridgeport is happy to announce that Red Hot Chili Peppers and John Mayer will be our headliners for this year’s Sound On Sound festival. Tens of thousands of people from all over will be visiting Bridgeport to enjoy top notch entertainment, utilize restaurants and services in the city and surrounding communities, while being exposed to one of Bridgeport’s best assets, Seaside Park. As mayor, I cannot be prouder or happier.”

“We are thrilled to bring the second annual Sound On Sound back to Seaside Park. Festival goers can expect to be wowed. The experience will be bigger and better this year from the acts, to the site, to the food and beverage offerings.
