Heatwave Music Festival 2023 Returns with GRiZ, Tiësto, Kx5, Gryffin, LSDREAM, Loud Luxury and Malaa at the Helm
After a successful 2022 debut, Heatwave Music Festival returns to Chicago for its sophomore addition with a lineup led by some of electronic dance music’s biggest innovators including GRiZ, Tiësto, Slander, Kx5 (featuring super-duo deadmau5 and Kaskade), Gryffin, LSDREAM, Loud Luxury, Malaa and more. Set for June 10-11, the two-day event will take place at the city’s iconic lakefront location of Northly Island.

Produced by Chicago’s Auris Presents, Heatwave will also featured more big names including Nitti Gritti & Party Favor’s standout house project SIDEPIECE, the legendary A-Trak and emergent VNSSA performing a highly anticipated b2b set, and electronic trio Cheat Codes. Additional highlights include scene veterans like chart-topping producer Deorro, popular collaborators Whethan and Elephante, Swiss-Italian stalwart EDX, forward-thinking Australian export Luude, and house star Noizu. Internationally renowned graffiti artist and DJ Alec Monopoly is also set to make an appearance.

A slew of the scene’s risers will also be on hand including melodic tech house duo KREAM, twin sister duo Coco & Breezy, heavy hitters Kaivon and Kai Wachi, and respected sound design expert Apashe. The bill is rounded out by up-and-comers such as The Sponges, TWINSICK, Zingara, NOTD, Automhate and more.

A variety of to-be-announced visual artists and creatives will also take center stage contributing immersive art installations. Fans can expect to see more of the types of art that made Heatwave’s debut edition unique such as artist Laura Kimpton’s interactive installation DREAM with ME, mural art by Pretty Done, large-scale puppetry from Ellie Terrell, and a pop-art inspired statue garden.
