Brilliant Scheduling for Resonate Suwannee
The schedule for Resonate Suwannee is out, and it is a stroke of genius. The bands and the EDM artists are split just about 50-50, and there are two stages in use for the festival in Live Oak at Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park March 30 through April 1.
Recall for a moment that, logistically speaking, the amphitheater is much better equipped to handle bands and all of their equipment. Uncle Charles’ Porch Stage, at the top of the hill, has a considerably smaller capacity for handling equipment.
DECISION: All of the bands are on the AMP Stage, and all of the EDM artists and DJs are on the SUPERF3ST Stage. See? Brilliant!! We alternate all weekend between the two stages and the two styles of performance.
THURSDAY, MARCH 30
Tamayo have the first AMP set, followed by lespecial and then two sets of Resonate hosts STS9.
Arrive in time to check out SIDE TRAKD with the first music of the day. There is a lot more, with Michal Menert, Late Night Radio, Frameworks, and finally Ott. headlining.
FRIDAY, MARCH 31
Completely buzzed for every set Friday, from Florida jam masters Guavatron and and Atlanta’s Hive Mind to Lotus and another pair from STS9.
So much joy, beginning with Skiz, Future Joy, and Megan Hamilton, then the amazing Mark Farina, Emancipator, and fan-favorite Opiuo.
SATURDAY, APRIL 1
It’s another incredible day. Don’t sleep on Sneezy. You know BIG Something will deliver, as will Lawrence. If you’ve never had the Cimafunk experience, strap in tight, and funk kings Lettuce shut down THE AMP and Resonate! (OK, there might be renegade sets here and there!)
SoSMP ambassador Vlad the Inhaler opens the day, with wonderful sounds coming from Dirtwire and Desert Dwellers next. That leaves The Polish Ambassador and The Floozies to close down SUPERF3ST Stage.
Most of these bands and artists have been part of previous Suwannee Hulaween, Resonate Suwannee, Suwannee Rising, Wanee, Bear Creek, AURA, and other events at the park. WELCOME HOME!!!
