Joe Marcinek with Two Monster Shows in Colorado This Weekend

Joe Marcinek has once again rounded up twice the number of usual suspects for two great shows in Colorado Friday and Saturday. The core band features Marcinek, guitar & vocals; Dave Watts (The Motet), drums; Jason Hann (The String Cheese Incident), percussion; Ola Timothy, bass; Tommy Shugart (Roosevelt Collier Band), Hammond B3 organ & keyboards; and Danielle Mohr (HoneyWhat), guitar & vocals. The Friday show also features Lauren Joy (Phantom Phare) on keyboards, guitar & vocals. Saturday Michelle Sarah joins the crew on vocals.

Friday, January 6, the action is at Velvet Elk Lounge in Boulder, beginning at 11 p.m. (doors at 8). The show the next night at Knew Conscious in Denver starts at midnight (technically Sunday morning, but who’s counting?). Doors at 11.
