Guavatron at Suwannee Hulaween — Now Up on Bandcamp
Jamtronic masters Guavatron played Friday, October 27, at Suwannee Hulaween at Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park on the Campground Stage, shortly before The Disco Biscuits would throw down a magical set at The Amphitheater.
In our Hulaween review, we noted:
My particular adoration for Guavatron (West Palm Beach) is well documented, but I don’t think any of us were prepared for their stunning set, beginning with two tremendous news songs: “View from Above” and “Moon Boots.” As the jamtronic quartet segued into “Xilla,” one of their top jams, Adonis Guava invited Aron Magner, keyboard master of The Disco Biscuits, to join Roddy Hansen, and for 15 minutes we were all mesmerized.
They played their “hit” “Disco Shades” and closed with a killer “Ray Gun.” HOT DAMN!
Conor Crookham pumped out the space bass while drummer Casey Luden worked hard to keep everybody in line. The crowd at the Campground Stage was packed, and the everyone gyrated the entire set. It was precisely the set Guavatron needed to play in front of many fans — new and old — as they continue to raise their profile.

The entire Hulaween set is now available on bandcamp with a fabulous mix done by Daryl Wolff, keyboard wizard for Tand and proprietor of AURA Studios in South Florida.
Guavatron play North Beach Music Festival December 9-11 (plus a late-night show), and they headline a massive four-band lineup at The Floridian Social Club in St. Petersburg December 16 that also includes Electric Kif, Tropico Blvd, and MiniM. They will open for Papadosio on two shows in January and will play Okeechobee Music & Arts Festival in February.
