Roger Waters’ THIS IS NOT A DRILL Tour at FTX Arena Miami 08.23.22

Roger Waters is in the midst of his THIS IS NOT A DRILLΒ tour, and the theater-in-the-round show stopped in Miami at FTX Arena on Tuesday, August 23. Of the 23 tracks in the setlist, 17 are from the Pink Floyd canon.

Our correspondent Bob McDade just shared this plus his photos:

Delayed post… finally getting around to posting up pics from last Tuesday’s concert in Miami with Roger Waters. It was an excellent performance. The band is just fantastic, that is really what I think. The staging was killer, too. Roger started the show with a warning re: his politics, advising those who have a problem with it to β€œfuck right off to the bar.” OK then!

And then the music started. I compromised on cheaper seats on the corner of the arena, but this vantage proved to be ideal for this show. Roger did a fine job of mixing up some of his solo material, with some less familiar Pink Floyd, and a healthy dose of crowd-pleasing favorites from the golden era of Floyd. Amazing show all around.
